Guest Designer Appearance at Scraps 'n' Pieces Emporium Challenge Blog

Hello everyone,

I am thrilled to announce my guest designer appearance at Scraps 'n' Pieces Emporium Challenge for August!
Here is my creation:

Their challenge this month is anything goes, so I hope you'll join in on fun and be inspired by wonderful creations their DT created!

I created a frame using some heavy cardstock, put it all together, covered it with scrunched up tissue paper, gesso and crackle paste. I added the inked and heat embossed butterfly cutout embellished with a fleur de lis resin embellishment.

I added a cluster of different embellishments to add some more interest to this piece. This is a greeting card but could surely be used as a home decor piece, I'd say...

I am going to enter this card into following challenges:

That Craft Place Mixed Media Anything Goes

We Love To Create Craft Challenge #16 Anything Mixed Media/creative/Inky Goes

Creative Craft Cottage Challenge #44 Anything Goes

I hope you enjoyed this post...
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by..

  2. My goodness, Samra, it's absolutely stunning card! Another masterpiece from you, my friend! A genius idea to create a frame out of the cardstock, gesso, tissue paper and paste! The result is breathtaking! I adore your embossed butterfly with fleur de lis and your perfect embellishing! It's grunge but soft and elegant at the same time! Amazing card and my new favorite of yours!
